June to October in South America: Chile-Argentina-Patagonia Imagine escaping the heat and humidity of summer to live the dream of skiing an endless winter. PowderQuest South America makes your powder dreams a reality when the Southern Hemisphere Winter brings deep dry powder snow to the Andes of Patagonia, Chile and Argentina.
Since 1998, PowderQuest has focused on 8 to 16-day guided snow adventures for small groups and individual travelers, plus unique ski resort packages not only rich in snow, but rich in South American culture.
January to March in Canada: British Columbia Deep within rugged interior British Columbia Canada, powder blankets endless backcountry ski touring terrain and hosts an amazing mix of charming ski towns, top notch ski resorts, and some of the best back country cat skiing operations in North America.
PowderQuest's certified local Canadian ski guides have created an unforgettable Canadian powder adventure where you will experience the true British Columbia Interior. Adventure travel winter road trips mix Canada's history and culture along with guided ski touring, lift-accessed off piste-backcountry and options for cat skiing through old growth forest and steep alpine bowls.
Soul Soul is the core of PowderQuest’s philosophy that started out on an August bluebird powder day back in 1997 in the high Andes of Chile. That dream was set in motion in 1998 and is the backbone of the company that is today, a decade later, offering snow adventures in Chile, Argentina and British Columbia, Canada.
Certified guides lead you confidently in the mountains, get you to the best skiing, away from the crowds and help introduce you to the local culture. However, they also know when to step aside and let you make the call. PowderQuest refuses to lock you in a tour bus and hold your hand like many other tour operators. Soul is about experiencing South America and Canada through your own eyes.
Not only does PowderQuest provide you with the best lines on the mountain but guides show you the time of your lives off the mountain. From comfortable bed and breakfasts to small, locally run guest houses, PowderQuest shows you firsthand what culture is all about. Dine at local hot spots, experience the local wines and enjoy the best of each country in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. This is easier to come by when the groups are small; there is a maximum tour size of eight with one guide for every four people. Take advantage of these small group dynamics and come and start your very own PowderQuest now!
